The Joke That is Ron Gibson

Today, Democratic City County Council member Ron Gibson was supposed to have his initial hearing on charges that he shoved a Sheriff's Deputy in a drunken spat.

Turns out Gibson's "Criminal" attorney filed a motion to dismiss. Pretty sure that is just a method of prolonging the case until after the election. So the case is set for a hearing on that motion for December 14th.

I assume Gibson will be looking for some favors to take care of the case once the election is out of the way.

He probably has some delusion that Kennedy will win and she will drop the case.

Or

A similar delusion that Anderson will be re-elected and Anderson will give a sweet job to the Deputy if she drops the charges.

Neither theory seems to far fetched for a man and a party that thinks they are above the law.

It wouldn't behoove the deputy to drop the case, but I would definitely believe that Meliar would convince the Special Prosecutor to cease prosecution and drop the charges.

Aaron Haith, another drunk on the city payroll.

Why are we paying for Ron Gibson's private attorney? This was not an official matter, he was off duty and this case has nothing to do with his official capacity as a ccc.

Again, why are WE paying for his attorney?

Sir hailstone! Ron is just a mamber of the CCC and as Mary Adams will quickley point out he is expected to follow the law. If he pushed this officer then he needs to pay the price just like any other person. His status is shallow at best and his efforts in the CCC have been for personal gain and does not reflect the wants of the citizens he represents. Ron needs to go to jail and loose his status as CCC and so do those who came out in suport of him. They are elected to support the laws of this city, but yet they stand in our faces on the steps of the CCB and say we support Ron and not the police officer. What a joke no wonder crime is so high in this rotten city. It smells like a bad case of Demacraps in charge. We must fix this. Thes epeople can't even win with honor, they wine and cry about every little issue, but do nothing for the common good or the citizens in this state, city or county.
